JUSTIN M. MYERS
Justin M. Myers is a local Utah attorney. Mr. Myers obtained a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in accounting. Prior to attending law school, he worked at a national accounting firm and as an auditor for the Utah State Tax Commission. Mr. Myers obtained a law degree from the J. Rueben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. While in law school, he performed an externship with Judge Judith A. Boulden at the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Utah.
Before starting his own practice, Mr. Myers worked at two Utah law firms–Farris & Utley, P.C. and Woodall & Wasserman. While at Farris & Utley, P.C., Mr. Myers was able to represent many individuals in bankruptcy proceedings. At Woodall & Wassermann, Mr. Myers primarily represented large mortgage companies on the creditor side. He was in bankruptcy court three to four times per week representing the interests of large banks. While here he gained knowledge of the legal tactics that creditors utilize in bankruptcy proceedings.
In 2006, Mr. Myers started his own law firm—Justin M. Myers, Attorney-at-Law, LLC. One of the primary reasons for starting his own firm was his desire to assist individual Utah families with their legal needs. The majority of Mr. Myers’ practice is dedicated to helping Utah families and small business owners file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He has helped thousands of Utah families solve their financial problems in a favorable manner. Often this assistance involves debt settlement and filing for bankruptcy protection.
When Mr. Myers isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.

Mr. Myers is member of the Utah State Bar and the bankruptcy subsection of the Utah State Bar. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and regularly attends NACBA’s annual national conference in order to better understand current bankruptcy law. Mr. Myers devotes the majority of his practice to consumer bankruptcy law helping individuals, families and small business owners file for bankruptcy protection in Utah.
